The TMJ acts like a sliding hinge, connecting your jawbone to your skull. Dysfunction can lead to pain
and discomfort

People may experience pain in the face, ear, mouth and jaw. Difficulty in chewing and toothache may be
associated with this disorder.
ALSO COMMON: Headache, joint locking or muscle spasms.
